Graphene is also used to enhance the rubber in the grippy outsole of the ROCFLY G 390 GTX. Thoughtfully positioned 4mm lugs can get firm purchase on wet rock, mud and hard dry surfaces. They then release any mud or debris just as quickly, keeping you feeling light and fast. Another piece of trail running innovation used in the boot is the ADAPTER-FLEX groove. This gives you more flexible and adaptable control of the boot by allowing each of your metatarsal bones to move more independently. The result is that you can respond more naturally to the ground beneath, giving you better grip on uneven terrain. The ROCFLY's upper is made with protective ripstop nylon material. This tough material is wear resistant and works to keep tiny pieces of trail debris out of the boot - prolonging the life of it and protecting the waterproof GORE-TEX membrane underneath. • Protective Upper: All the protection you need on longer hikes. Tough, yet lightweight ripstop nylon together with a gusseted tongue keeps trail debris out, helping to protect the GORE-TEX membrane and prolong the life of your boots.
• GORE-TEX Membrane: Your feet stay dry when hiking over boggy, wet ground. A GORE-TEX waterproof membrane protects when walking through puddles, but is also breathable, allowing moisture to exit the shoe as you sweat.
• Graphene Enhanced Grip: Get a firm grip on any terrain with graphene-enhanced rubber grip. 35 4mm rubber lugs have been cleverly positioned to improve propulsion at the front of the boot, and braking at the rear. These lugs firmly grip everything from wet rock to boggy mud giving you superior traction wherever your adventure takes you.
• G-Fly Foam Cushioning: Feel fresher during long distance hikes. Graphene-enhanced G-FLY cushioned foam retains its thickness and levels of energy return for longer.
